The Porn Film Festival Vienna together with the Student Union of Academy of Fine Arts Vienna are organizing the exhibition A…cademy of Fine Kink Vol. 2 as part of the Pornfilm-Festival Vienna 2024.
The Exhibition will take place between April 9th and 15th in the ground floor of the historical atelier building “Semperdepot”. We will feature porn-, sex- and body-positive works and performances. All forms of media are welcome for submission.
On April 9th, there will be an excessive vernissage where visitors are encouraged to become part of the performances.
Important informations:
- Sex-positive, but not sexist. Porn-positive, but not mainstream. Body-positive, but never harmful.
- Works must be set up on April 8th between 10 am and 7 pm.
- Dismantling should take place on April 15th between 5 pm and 8 pm.
- Tools and materials cannot be provided for setup, and assistance during setup is limited. If your work is reaching us from outer Austria, Vienna, we will set it up for you.
- If you require equipment (screen, projector, speakers), please indicate this. We have limited availability.
- Material costs and Artist fees cannot be reimbursed. There is no budget :-(
Please only submit if you agree to all of these rules.
We want to see your artworks on: sex, sexual identity, crisis of sex, porn, erotic aesthetics, bodies in our society, post porn politics, glitter cum, homemade realness, kinkyness, campy sexy, gender celebration, leather & latex freedom, nakedness, future of sex, etc. Be skinny, fragile, alien, positive, saintly, devillish, tough, fat, royal, shameless, rude, vanilla, rough playing – we want it all!
Submission
Participation is open to everyone. We anyway ask if you are currently enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna to sort the submissions.
Submissions should be send as one (1)PDF file (max. 2 MB) to oehbk@akbild.ac.at include the following:
- short text about the work (approx. 1/2 A4 page)
- Please include information about the medium, and size or length of the work.
- image of the art works, sketches for performances
- Write expected postage costs if needed. We will try to cover this
- the name of the file needs to include your name. E.g. Surname_Kink.
In a second pdf file (max. 5 MB) send us your cv and portfolio
