Freunde und Kolleg*innen!
Ihr habt sicher von den Gerüchten über die schwierige Situation der Rücksiedlung zum Schillerplatz gehört. Tatsächlich hat das Rektorat die vorherigen Raumzuteilungen umgeworfen und jetzt ist die Situation alles andere als eindeutig. Manche haben ihre Räume verloren, andere haben nicht genug Platz zugeteilt bekommen, manche wurden vorerst ohne Studios/Atelier/Arbeitsplatz gelassen und nicht alle Stimmen wurden gehört.
Wir sind diesbezüglich im ständigen Kontakt mit dem Rektorat, Studierenden, Professor*innen und Assistent*innen und versuchen den best möglichen Weg aus der Situation für alle zu finden. Deswegen erachten wir es als wichtig alle Stimmen der unterschiedlichen Gruppen an der Akademie Gehör zu verschaffen, für die das Gebäude in den nächsten Jahren ein neues Zuhause sein wird. Dies ist ein Aufruf an euch alle!
Am 14. August werden wir ein Treffen auf dem Schillerplatz am Schillerdenkmal organisieren um die Rückübersiedlung zum Schillerplatz zu besprechen.
Wir beginnen um 16 Uhr und nach der Diskussion werden wir ein kulturelles Programm haben! Wenn du einen Programmpunkt (Performance, Screening, ect), anbieten möchtest, wir uns sehr freuen über all eure Vorschläge!

Friends and colleagues!
You may have already heard rumors about a difficult situation related to the relocation of the building on Schillerplatz. Indeed, this spring the rectorate changed the previous room-decision, and now the situation is not entirely univocal. Some lost their rooms, others did not get enough space, some were left for the moment without studios at all and not all the voices were heard…
We are constantly in contact with the rectorate, students, professors and assistants on this topic, and we are trying to help to find optimal solutions and a way out of this situation. That is why we consider, to hear the voices of all the groups that form the academy, for whom this building will become a second home in the coming years. It is directed to all of you!
On 14th of August we will hold a meeting on the Schilerplatz at the Schiller Monument to discuss the move to Schillerplatz.
We start at 16:00 and after discussion we will have a cultural program! If you also have something to offer within the framework of the cultural program (performance, screening, etc.), we will be very happy to get all your suggestions.
