Hochschulvertretungen der österreichischen Kunstuniversitäten, sprechen uns in aller Form gegen die zentralen Punkte der geplanten UG-Novelle aus!

Mindest-ECTS pro Semester und eine potentielle Reduktion von Mehrfachinskriptionen auf maximal zwei Studien, entbehren jeglicher Studienrealität. Insbesonders für Studierende an Kunstuniversitäten stellen diese Änderungen massive Probleme für interdisziplinäres Forschen und Studieren sowie der Zugänglichkeit von und Bildungsgerechtigkeit an Hochschulen dar.

Mit absoluter Vehemenz lehnen wir auch die geplante Schwächung der Senate in jeglichen Belangen (u.a. Richtlinienkompetenz der Rektorate in curricularen Angelegenheiten; keine Mitsprache bei Wiederbestellung des Rektorats) ab. Die mögliche Einflussnahme der Politik auf universitäre Strukturen ist als direkter Angriff auf die Freiheit der Wissenschaften, Künste und ihrer Lehre zu werten.

Die umfassende Restrukturierung des UG erweckt klar den Eindruck, dass Bildung mit diesen Maßnahmen eine Frage von finanziellen Ressourcen wird und der seit Jahren vorangetriebenen Neoliberalisierung des Bildungssektors folgt.

Gemeinsam mit dem Senat, dem Rektorat, dem Arbeitskreis für Gleichbehandlungsfragen und dem Betriebsrat veranstaltet die ÖH Akbild am Dienstag, 17.03. eine Vollversammlung.

Hier können sich Studierende, Lehrende und Mitarbeiter_innen an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste gleichermaßen einbringen und ihre Beschwerden und Änderungsvorschläge einbringen.

Massiver Angriff auf den Tag der offenen Tür an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Wien.

 

Die Akademie der Bildenden Künste wurde am Abend des 24.01. gegen 22:00 mehrere Stunden eingekesselt. Mehr als 100 Gäste wurden festgehalten. Von allen Anwesenden wurden Personalien aufgenommen, etliche von den Einsatzkräften festgehalten und verletzt. Die zeitliche Nähe zu der zuvor stattfindenden Kunst-Auktion zugunsten von Flüchtlingen lässt auf einen willkürlichen Akt von Polizeigewalt schließen. Die Österreichische Hochschüler_innenschaft an der Akademie der bildenden Künste verurteilt dies und schließt sich der Rektorin Mag. Eva Blimlinger an, die von einem „Skandal“ spricht.

Bei den Protesten gegen den rechtsextremen „Akademikerball“ am 24.01.2014 wurden zahlreiche Personen durch die Polizei verletzt. Dieser „Ball“, der in der Vergangenheit u.a. bereits „zufällig“ am Tag der Befreiung von Auschwitz veranstaltet wurde, konnte einmal mehr in der Hofburg stattfinden. Neben vielen anderen Übergriffen und gezielter Körperverletzung von Einzelpersonen (dokumentiert durch unabhängige Medien) wurde am Abend des 24. die Akademie der Bildenden Künste Wien durch Polizeieinheiten, unter anderen der WEGA und Hundestaffel, angegriffen. Besucher*innen des stattfindenden Rundgangs („Tag der offenen Tür“ 23.01.2014 – 26.01.2014) wurden wahllos verhaftet und teilweise verletzt. Alle anwesende Gäste wurden gezwungen ihre Personalien abzugeben. Dabei verschaffte sich die Polizei Zugang zum Gebäude der Universität. Verschiedene Polizeieinheiten verweigerten im Rahmen des Übergriffes die Herausgabe ihrer Dienstnummern.

Laut Einsatzleitung wurde nach „Randalierern“ gesucht – dies rechtfertigt weder Gewalt noch das wahllose Verhaften von anwesenden Personen. Ein gezielter Übergriff durch die Polizei anlässlich der zuvor stattgefundenen Solidaritäts-Auktion für Flüchtlinge und Studierende aus Drittstaaten ist nicht ausgeschlossen. Einmal mehr zeigt sich, dass der einzige Randalierer vor Ort die Polizei selbst ist.
